Volunteer with the Estevan Humane Society by helping inside the shelter or supporting with dog walks when dogs are available. All volunteers need to complete an application before any hours are scheduled, whether you’re volunteering for school hours, community service, or simply because you love animals. You can print the application and bring it to the shelter once completed, or fill it out and email it in. The shelter asks for at least 24 hours notice when booking volunteer hours so the team can plan and schedule appropriately. If you want to walk dogs, you’ll need to bring photo ID so they can keep it on file, and it’s recommended to call ahead to confirm a dog is available for a walk that day.
